Bybit Login — Quick Guide & Troubleshooting

Simple, secure steps to access your Bybit account from desktop or mobile, plus tips for two-factor authentication (2FA) and account recovery.

Overview

Bybit is a cryptocurrency derivatives and spot trading platform. This guide covers the standard Bybit login flow, mobile and web differences, how to enable/restore 2FA, and common troubleshooting steps if you cannot sign in.

How to log in (Web & Mobile)

  1. Open Bybit website or app: Visit bybit.com or launch the official Bybit app from the App Store / Google Play.
  2. Click “Log In”: On desktop the button is top-right; on mobile it appears on the homepage or menu.
  3. Enter credentials: Provide your registered email address or phone number and your password. If you use SSO (Google/Apple), choose that option.
  4. Complete 2FA: If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the code from your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy) or the SMS code.
  5. Verification: Follow any additional prompts (e.g., device verification email) to complete sign-in.
Tip: Use a strong, unique password and enable 2FA for best security.

Enable or Reset Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

To enable 2FA go to Account > Security inside Bybit. Follow instructions to link Google Authenticator or another compatible app. If you lose your 2FA device, use the account recovery process (see account recovery below). Keep backup codes safe.
